Führung | Colonial Fantasies. A Decolonial Neighbourhood Walk to Three Playgrounds and Körnerpark

A guided tour by Steve Richards.

Playgrounds are not places free from power dynamics and prejudice. The neighborhood walk illustrates how playgrounds are still designed with stereotypes and power hierarchies between groups of people, even after the formal end of colonialism. We are on a search for traces of the colonial era that have also left their mark in Neukölln.

All interested individuals are warmly invited to join and ask questions. With this neighborhood walk, we aim to raise awareness, pose critical questions, and broaden perspectives a bit. Families are expressly welcome.

It is possible for tour participants to simply show up on the day without the need to pre-register for the tour. However, cash cannot be accepted by the tour guide instead, you will need to fill out a registration form on site (by hand) and the cost of the tour will be deducted from your account later.

Each tour costs EUR 9.90 per person, reduced rate EUR 6.75.
